Escape To The Page
- a writing workshop for women -

Providing creative writing programs for young people throughout the Bay area for the past 8 years has convinced us that grown-ups could also use more time to swim around in their imaginations. That’s the inspiration behind our Women’s Writing Group, Escape to the Page.
This is a chance to have a night-off from your routine, focus on sparking creativity, generating story ideas, and appreciating the camaraderie of fellow women who love (or want to learn to love) writing. Using the art of ”found inspiration”, we’ll dive into a different technique each week.
This is a no-pressure, come as you are, writing excursion. (No previous creative writing experience required.)

Erica-
Thanks for contacting us! Currently we don’t offer any programs for 17 year olds – unless she’s interested in interning with us!
If you would like more info, please e-mail tmwfimaven@gmail.com.
Thanks,

I’d love to join your writing group but these dates don’t allow. Please add me to your mailing list for future classes, retreats, workshops, et al. Onward creativity! Many thanks!!
Thanks for your interest Kathleen! We actually just added a new set of dates in May at the HUB Berkeley (May 7, 14, 21 & 28) if they happen to work better for you!
Would you also go ahead and send your email address to us at kim@takemywordforit.net?
Thanks!
I’d love to get back to finishing that book, already, and would sign up for a six week, once a week (M-F) thing at the Hub SOMA, a 2 hour brown bag lunch from 11:30-1:30 would be perfect for me.
Unfortunately we don’t currently have classes at the HUB SoMa, but we will definitely look into it for future workshops! Brown bag lunches also sound like a wonderful opportunity to consider. If you are in SF, please take a look at our classes Monday nights at The Makeshift Society in Hayes Valley!
If you have further questions, go ahead and email us at info@takemywordforit.net.
