For today's writing prompt, write a short story from the perspective of a person (or object) living in a dollhouse. What do other beings in your world look and sound like? Try and use all five senses when describing the world from this perspective.
If you could ask anyone 5 questions, who would you choose?
Imagine you have the chance to interview anyone (living or dead, real or fictional). Create a list of questions you would ask that person in an interview. Write about how s/he might respond.
This past Sunday was the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. Imagine if you were the sun. How doe she feel about her job? Does she ever want to change places with the Man in the Moon? What kind of adventure would ensue?
For today, imagine you are stepping inside this picture. You are walking down the gravel path. What land are you in? Who owns the castle and why is it in ruins? Now use first person to write about an adventure in this far away land.

Sunday is Mother's Day. How about taking some time to write something special for your mom? Here are some ideas:
Write an acrostic poem using the word M-O-T-H-E-R.
Write a thank you letter to your mom expressing your gratitude for all the things she does for you.
Write about a favorite or funny memory of your mother.
Finish this sentence in as many ways as you can think of: "My mother is a great Mom because…". Try using a different adjective each time: "My mother is a fabulous mom because …; "My mother is a one-of-a-kind Mom because…;" "My mother is a spectacular Mom because…."
Imagine that you and your mom switched places and suddenly you became her Mom for a Day. What would that be like? Write about a day in her shoes.
