Kids Write and Publish!

Check out the story below! It is a link to an awesome article discussing the book, "Listen to the Wind," written by Greg Mortenson and Susan L. Roth.  "Listen to the Wind" is a picture-book version of the best selling novel, "Three Cups of Tea." Sarah L. Roth's collages are a beautiful way to show, from one kid to another, how one man made a huge difference in a small village.

Happy reading!

Young Writer's Resources

Have you ever seen and read the awesome website put out by the Office of Letters and Light?

They are the folks who dreamed up and put on NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). www.http://www.nanowrimo.org/.

Each November, they challenge and support adult writers, with lots of humor and panache, in completing a novel in a month.

Their Young Writers Program aids teachers, homeschooling parents and youth librarians in using NaNoWriMo's free curriculum and lesson plans in their classrooms.
