"Take My Word For It!" has teamed up with the Bay area's NaNoWriMo, the folks that put on National Novel Writing Month each November. Our young writers at Chabot Elementary and Thornhill Elementary are embarking on an exciting and challenging project for the fall session- writing a novel!
Teachers across the country use the NaNoWriMo curriculum in their English/Language Arts classes during the school day. We're the first to offer it in the after-school setting.
Today at Chabot we began to develop our main characters and plan to spend a lot of time with them in the next couple of months.
