Seven year old writer, Kaylee, created two remarkable descriptions of the emotions joy and jealousy.
The writing activity was to make a human emotion come alive by giving it a color, taste, sound, smell and feel.
Here's what Kaylee wrote:
Joy
Joy sounds like happiness everywhere.
Joy smells like daisies.
Joy tastes like and ice-cream sundae.
Joy feels like a blanket.
Jealousy
My jealousy is dark, dark, dark black.
My jealousy smells like a car's engine.
My jealousy tastes like mud.
My jealousy looks like a glop of garbage.
My jealousy feels like old homework with a cup of juice spilled on it.
